VAT Returns to be filed electronically for Refund cases

Punjab Excise and Taxation Department had started the facility of e-filing of VAT returns. E-filing has been made compulsory for persons making export out of the country or persons claiming refund under the VAT Act. This has been made compulsory through a public notice from the Quarter ending 30th June 2008 onwards. Alongwith the electronic return the hard copy of the return is also to be filed with the Department.
